Mám jednoho známého z Kamerunu. Hrál jsem s ním kdysi ve Francii. Nemůžu říct jeho jméno, říkejme mu prozatím Mutumbo. Ve Francii byl svými kousky proslaven. Tenhle Mutumbo byl velice čiperný hoch. A to nejen na hřišti. Na hřišti mu to šlo podle toho, jak se mu chtělo. Když se mu chtělo, mohl porazit kohokoliv. Když vyhlásil stávku, bylo lepší, ho nestavět. Stalo se, že zmizel na několik týdnů do Afriky, pak se objevil a bez tréninku rozbil sám Belgorod. Ale týmový hráč to moc nebyl. Vydělával volejbalem velmi slušné peníze, ale přesto si neustále přilepšoval. Melouchy, to bylo jeho. Třeba přišel do šatny a říká, chlapáci, nechcete někdo novou, úplně novou kameru. Digitální, s LCD displayem, jen za tři kila. A co záruka, máš? Ne, přeci bys nechtěl na novou kameru záruku. Ta pošlape i bez záruky. Navíc mám taky fotoaparáty, telefony, televize, satelity, GPS, naváděcí systémy pro nukleární zbraně, …. Prostě z kamionů padající elektronika byla jeho veliká vášeň. Mutumbo také miloval automobily. Hlavně ty erární, od klubu. Například tehdy jezdil s novou klubovou Vectrou. Najednou zmizel. A Vectra s ním. Oficiálně jel do Kamerunu na pohřeb svého vzdáleného praprastrýce. Neoficiálně nevím, ale Vectra je ještě dnes klenot kamerunských dálnic. Ve Francii už ji nikdy nikdo neviděl. A tak to šlo dál. Občas v šatně někomu švihnul pas a pak se děly věci. Policie nestíhala. Samozřejmě také neplatil daně, proto musel v určitou dobu takticky vyklidit pole a hrál v cizině….
Sázky a dostihy to byla další Mutumbova hra. Sázel hodně, a nikdy nesázel sám. Snažil se vždy co nejvíce snížit riziko. Proto vymyslel nový typ sázení. Sázet na prohru a sázet na svoji vlastní prohru. Vsadil prachy, pak zahrál špatně a shrábl zisk. A my se divili, že v koncovce každého setu obstřeluje tribuny. U toho měl útrpný výraz a něco mumlal, že dneska nemá den. Byl to zkrátka filuta, tenhle Mutumbo. Pak se ale karta obrátila.
Před několika lety zmizel z Evropy. Nebyl v Itálii, nebyl ve Francii, nikde ani vidu, ani sluchu. Byl v Kamerunu a zpytoval svědomí z hříchů, které provedl. Promluvil k němu totiž bůh a jasně mu naznačil, že jestli nepřestane kšeftovat, dostane doživotní kapavku. Bůh Mutumbovi přikázal, aby změnil svůj pohled na život i na volejbal. A tak se Mutumbo poctivě kál několik let v náručí své veliké rodiny. Vždy říkal, že má v Africe tří ženy, takže se zřejmě kál každou noc u jiné. Potom vrátil doporučenou poštou všechny pasy, které ukradl. Přes internet napráskal francouzské policii gang sběračů spadlé elektroniky. Zařekl se, že už nesedne do auta, které není opravdu jeho. Daně nedoplatil, nic se prý nemá přehánět.
A co se týče sázení a prodávání zápasů? Zde Kamerunec bohu dokázal, že to s napravením myslí opravdu vážně. Stal se z něj totiž speciální agent, proto nemůžete znát jeho pravé jméno a totožnost. Krycí jméno Mutumbo. Ano, agent, který má za úkol likvidovat organizovaný volejbalový zločin. Výsledkovou korupci. Začalo to již v Kamerunu, kde chvíli pracoval pro místní volejbalový svaz. Jeho předseda (ten, který náhodou má Vectru) ho požádal o vyřešení velmi zapeklitého případu. Jeden z favoritů kamerunské ligy totiž záhadně prohrál 0-3 s outsiderem. A to hned dvakrát za sebou. Jednou snad dokonce na domácí půdě. Hned šli drby, že to všechno prý bylo prodané. Mutumbo se nenechal unést emocemi, řídil se fakty a přesvědčil zainteresované hráče a manažery, aby mu řekli pravdu. Použil sofistikované přesvědčovací metody některých vyspělých západních zpravodajských služeb. Mlácení, elektřina, topení ve vodě, mučení zvané budík a další. Pravda byla…samozřejmě, že to bylo prodané. Tak všechny podezřelé obvinil, odsoudil a popravil. V Africe je vše jednoduché.
Pro své veliké zkušenosti z oboru ho následně CEV angažoval jako šéfa protikorupčního komanda, které má za úkol potírat handlování se zápasy. Své nové poslání vzal za své a brzy dosáhl několika úspěchů. Proslavil se svými tvrdými metodami, přeci jen je z Afriky. Zavedl pro manažery, trenéry i hráče, kteří prodávají své zápasy velmi tvrdé tresty. On i jeho lidé sebou všude nosí mačetu. Mačetu z masakrů v Sierra Leone. Když Mutumbo někoho načapá, tak šup a veřejně mu usekne ruku. Pěkně u ramene. Bez anestezie, aby si to švindlíř pamatoval do budoucna. Krev stříká, chudák se svíjí, lidé křičí a bůh nahoře řve radostí. Bůh sportu vše odpustí, jen ne prodaný nebo koupený zápas. Mutumbo ovšem není nelida, takže vždy usekne jen jednu ruku, i když se nešťastník provinil několikrát. Tady se, myslím, nechal ovlivnit měkkou evropskou společností.
Nyní se Mutumbo chce zaměřit na střední Evropu. Doneslo se mu prý, že některé místní ligy jsou jaksi prohnilé. Prý samí kapříci a dvacetník a třicetník, a že to chce radši překontrolovat. Já osobně tomu nevěřím, ve střední Evropě se přeci s volejbalovými zápasy nekšeftuje. Nikdo tu sety ani zápasy neprodává. Ale pokud ano, měl by si ten někdo dát velký pozor. Napravený a rozběsněný Mutumbo se blíží. Se svojí zakrvavenou mačetou.
P. S. Podobnost jména Mutumbo se jménem Dikembe Mutombo (basketbalista NBA, specialista na doskoky a bloky) je čistě náhodná. Charaktery všech postav jsou celkem smyšlené a jejich podobnost s reálnými postavami je taktéž čistě náhodná.
